The Gift Aid programme has been made simpler to allow any donation, no matter how small or large, to qualify for tax relief under Gift Aid - your gift could be worth almost 30% more simply by completing the Gift Aid declaration.  For example, if you make a donation of £100, we can reclaim an extra £28 from the Inland Revenue, at no additional cost to yourself - signing the Gift Aid declaration means that The Sixteen can reclaim the basic income tax that you have already paid on your donation.

If you are a higher rate taxpayer you can also benefit by claiming relief on the difference between the basic rate and higher rate of tax.
