Handel and Haydn Society
The Handel and Haydn Society is a professional chorus and period instrument orchestra founded in Boston in 1815. The Society is the oldest continuously performing arts organisation in the United States and has a longstanding commitment to excellence and innovation. Harry Christophers has conducted the Society each season since his first appearance in September 2006 and the 2009-2010 Season saw his debut as their Artistic Director. The Mozart Requiem is the second in a series of new recordings that Harry will be making with the Society for CORO.
